5. Duncansby

One of the original battle grounds of clan warfare and the site of an infamous massacre in 1692, Glencoe is one of the most haunting and dramatic places in Scotland. Located in the North-West of Scotland beside Loch Leven, it is often used as a popular base for climbers and hikers targeting Ben Nevis and other surrounding mountains.
