1/ Bordeaux
Bordeaux is the biggest and probably most renown wine producing region on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. They mainly produce red wines that are a mix of several varieties. You can make the most of your motorhome trip by organizing a route through famous castles or more little ones.
We particularly advise you to go to St-Emilion which provides the best wines around and offers parking lots for motorhomes and places to stay at night.
2/Champagne
The Champagne region has lots to offer and their sparkling wine is just as tasty as the reputation suggests. You will also be able to eat traditional and sophisticated food in cities such as Reims or Epernay. The Cathedral of Reims is also worthwhile to visit if you like dramatic monuments, and will complete your motorhome sightseeing tour perfectly.

3/Provence
This area is the world’s leading rose winemaking region but also one of the loveliest places to visit in France due to its pleasant weather and beautiful scenery. You will encounter during your trip all kinds of exceptional vineyards , nice roads to cruise with your motorhome and a lot of things to do. Among them, do not miss the “Carrières de Lumières” in Les Baux de Provence, probably one of the most impressive activity to do out there. Kayak through the Calanques is also one of the best ideas you may have as the landscapes are breathtaking and will allow you to have a break from all the good wine tasted during your journey !
4/ Burgundy
There is no places such as Burgundy to discover the French “Art de Vivre” : Good cuisine, enjoyable wines and nice landscapes await you during this trip. Take the time to visit the Chablis vineyard and the Basilica of Vézelay, which is listed as UNESCO world heritage site.
